Complaints Procedure

New Citroen C4 Cactus DealsTouch wood.... we have NEVER received a complaint in over 10 years trading! However for compliance reasons we set out below the complaints procedure should any customer be unhappy with their deal for any reason.

If you are unhappy with the deal or anything related to it please read the following complaints procedure:

Step One:
Inform either ourselves or the supplying dealership (or both) of the nature of your complaint either by email, phone or in writing.
We or the dealership will contact you at the earliest opportunity to confirm receipt of the complaint and to clarify with you the exact nature of the complaint.

Step Two:
If you have informed us we will then contact the supplying dealership to ascertain that they are aware of the complaint and to find out what they intend to do to rectify the issue. We will inform you of their response.

Hopefully the above will then result in the matter being resolved to your satisfaction. If for any reason that is not the case we will advise how to take the matter further or refer you to other protections you may have as detailed below.

Warranty Cover
If the complaint relates to something about the car itself than you should be covered under the manufacturers warranty - valid at any of their franchised dealerships across the UK. You don't have to take it back to the one you bought from as each dealer is obliged to carry out any warranty work and will be reimbursed by the manufacturer.

Your Legal Protections:
The supplying dealership will have made you aware of your right to cancel under the Consumer Contract Regulations (replaced the 'distance selling directive') at any point up to 7 days after delivery. This is valid as long as you haven't carried out any part of the transaction 'face-to-face' with the dealership apart from actually collecting the car. (There are some terms and conditions relating to this protection.)

If you've paid the initial deposit by credit card you may also be covered by the Credit Consumer Act section 75.

There's also the Sale of Goods Act protection and you may also be covered under any finance agreement you may have taken out, check the small print.

Rest assured though - we have never had a complaint and long may that continue.
